What people say....
I had recently ordered this belt, along with some vambraces and a circlet for my outfit for the next LARP event I attend. I messaged in my order for any further details about the belt (I wanted a Grpyhon engraved on the shield and to match the black and blue motif). The belt was event modified to have blue loop holes for the belt, which I am really impressed with! Thank you DarkBlade.
I brought his for the fact I couldn't find a descent holder for a 2-handed sword; Now I have, although you do need someone to help re-attach the magnets I'm sure a small mod will sort that out. As for construction; it is brilliantly made and can be adjusted for all body types, and the fact there are belt loops this can also be part of a belt to hold up chain mail or even hold it on its own. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a love for 2H weapons! Side note; this can be used with 1H weapon as well up to 40" without over-extending your arm to withdraw and sheath your blade (swords only)
This is a great product. The plastic bottle means I'm not worried when I take it into battle. It holds a good amount of water and the strap is long enough not to be an issue. I have frequently lent it to friends when I knew they were terrible at remembering to keep themselves hydrated. I've also received several compliments on it. The only problem was that I quickly dented the bottle, though that's more a reflection on me and I'm sure I can find another bottle somewhere if I damage it more.
Beads!,.. thank you for sending them!!, wow! i thought i had lodgers, but i`m standing beside myself!!, A+, Superb and outstanding shop/service!! well done Darkblade!.
superb belt pouch for every day use,.. esp if biker! or viking lol
Oh. My. Word!! I am SO pleased with the quality and style of this collar. I work in historical re enactment with children so this will really add to our day.
Absolutely brilliant. A good, strong pouch - big enough to put your gubbins in, but not so big it gets in the way. I was slightly concerned that the belt loops would be too small or not strong enough, but I need not have worried. A great bit of kit, can't wait to show it off!
The metal is very thick and looks really good in person when worn. The pictures here don't do it justice
This is a nifty little scabbard. Slot it in and close the popper, and, true to the description, your dagger is staying right where you put it until you need it. Good stuff.
Essential bit of kit! Don't leave the tavern without one.
This beauty is the centre of my new outfit in more ways than one! Curved so that it sits comfortably on the hips, the built-in dividers stop your scabbards and pouches from sliding together, and the hexagon-shaped front panel gives it a wonderful dash of corset-like appeal (without the ribcage-crushing squeeze). I could wear this thing forever, and it looks fantastic to boot. Darkblade was also super friendly and accommodating to my requests for a specific shade of brown leather, and delivered this (along with several other matching leather pieces I ordered) in record time, thoroughly banishing my worries about how soon the LARP was starting. Great belt, great service, great everything!
Sturdy bracers with a rather striking layered design! You really can't go wrong with these.
This thing is made of a lovely heavy cotton fabric, and would be great for any number of different character concepts, casters or otherwise. It's like a tunic, but more interesting and unique!
The sizing was spot-on, and they're so comfortable that I might just start wearing them around the house, too.
This is a great shirt with sturdy cotton fabric, and it's very comfortable! This is going to be my go-to base kit for a good long time, I think.
Like it the description said it is a bottle opener, always useful. Might contain a bit of rust though, so keep that in mind.
This is a requirement for any outfit using a belt, it keeps everything in place. Especially useful for keeping scabards in the right places.
I'm a bit torn on this product. On the one hand it is beautiful, high quality, and about 25,5" (65cm) deep which is great for idv arrows. But on the other hand, the shoulder strap turned out a bit shorter than expected. If I extend the strap to its longest size the quiver will hang at elbow height which means it can get in the way of movement quite fast.
Unfortunately this whistle isn't very good for letting people where you are. The sound that comes from it is so quiet that people can barely hear the sound from the other side of the room. I would not recommend you buy this.
Had one of these for about 8-9years now. V. Hard-wearing, good generic robe for monstering or as a base/main component of character kit. Great versatile piece of clothing for any LARPer
