Hero belts have been a staple of Larp costume for quite a few years now. In the early days they were wide belts that buckled up at the back and often had a large decorated disc at the front. They looked good and gave a measure of support, the down side was you had to wear a normal belt as well to put all your stuff on. Now hero belts have integral belts built into them that can be taken out completely and threaded with all the pouches and scabbards you need.

They've been made using stiff shoulder leather as they are often worn with armour to give extra support. The Walter hero belt is slightly different. The wide section is made of softer 2mm leather designed to be more comfortable for non armour wearing characters. The two inner belts are made with shoulder leather and can be removed to allow you to thread pouches on as standard.
